Should Anti Nationalism be tolerated?

I have been refraining from writing on this sensitive issue from long but i think its high time. Jawaharlal Nehru University, a very renowned and reputed university is now facing serious conflicts. Who is responsible? Kanhaiya or other JNU students or BJP government or someone else?

Now, the basic facts which are known to us are some of the JNU students were seen saying Anti Nationalist slogans in a rally which was basically against the punishment of Afzal Guru (a known terrorist) and this rally was approved by the president of JNU students union Kanhaiya who has been arrested for sedition and other students are absconding. There are so many people against this arrest and doing marches whereas there are many who say shutdown JNU and want to kill these people for being against the nation. But will it do any good? If 10 students of JNU say anti nationalist slogans, then shutting down whole university or treating all JNU students in the same manner is not justified.

And people who are claiming videos are tampered by ABVP students union, i believe this should be left to the police and judiciary to decide upon. Yes,delhi police can be under control of central but judiciary is an independent body under article 50, so  I don’t know why extraneous violence and protests have been taking place. If the absconding JNU students are innocent then i don’t see the point of running away. And if this has really taken place, then I am sorry we are not tolerant enough to just leave these students. If punishment won’t be given today then a lot more will happen tomorrow.

At last, I would just say that please recall the death of Hanumanthappa and thousand of soldiers who die fighting and protecting us on borders. Be a citizen who is worth fighting for. #IncredibleIndia

BJP barring Activists!

image

The condition of India is very sad specially in terms of justice and order. An Australian Greenpeace activist was not allowed to enter India despite having all relevant documents. Yes. You read it right and that did happen. This is the government’s new stunt. What are they afraid of? Free speech?
Freedom of speech is something  our Constitution grants but is still subject to violation and prevention. How can we expect justice if our government itself is unjust? And this, my friends, is the bitter truth.

Who is responsible for Gajendra Singh’s Death?

Gajendra_Singh_PTI2

A reluctant farmer, Gajendra Singh who lived in a small village in Rajasthan lost his crops in last month’s untimely rain and hailstorm and came Delhi to meet Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal committed suicide in an AAP Rally. It is being said that He committed suicide because of depression as he was not able to feed the empty stomachs of his children.

Now the question rises that who should be held responsible for this suicide attempt? The government who was not able to provide aid to all those farmers who are suffering from crop failure? or The people present there in rally who were just staring at the farmer instead of stopping him from doing this?

I feel pity for the lives of all those poor and middle class people whose lives are of no value in the eyes of our government and even after their death, politics continue to take place. Their death is made a controversy. BJP and Congress blaming AAP for Gajendra Singh’s death and AAP leaders which are so called “Politicians” who had a very casual attitude towards the life of a farmer quoted during the rally- “Ab Mukhya Mantri thodi bachane jaenge sabko” (Now,Chief Minister i.e. Arvind Kejriwal won’t go and save all the people committing suicide) are now crying and apologizing in media, doing all this drama just to gain sympathy and public support. Police is defending themselves by saying that they tried their best but the AAP supporters created hurdles on their way and even AAP leaders continued to give speech even after seeing this kind of situation. This is really shameful. Now we all know the value of lives of middle class and poor people in India. #wewantbetterIndia

The four children comment by Sakshi Maharaj of BJP – Horrendous

1420715722sakshi-maharaj-twitter-joke6

Go ahead and guess the gender of Sakshi Maharaj first. Boom! He’s not a female!
Yes, in India, we have a chaotic mixture of names of both the genders.
Supposedly, he is some ‘baba’ and surprisingly, he is an MP. I don’t know how these people get voted for. This really surprises me. But, hey, after all, anything is possible here in our country and this only happens in India.

He stated a fact which amused me at first and then horrified me later. He stated that every Hindu woman should produce four children so that the Hindu population could increase. This amused me. But the fact that he belongs to the ruling party and he is an MP seriously horrifies me. Is it right for a ‘so called’ leader to say something like this? Now, is this not hindutva? What else is he spreading?
Alright, we are educated people and we simply laughed off this stupid comment. But there are people who may get influenced. People from other sections of society may feel inferior by this comment. We must remember that this is a secular nation. If some low witted baba, who is also an MP of the ruling party, asks for the increase in the Hindu population, what do we interpret? The fact that he himself is a bachelor is a more hilarious fact.

So, the BJP now claims that a notice has been issued to him. But Mr. Sakshi Maharaj says that he did not receive anything from the party and that it was the BJP’s internal matter. What exactly is happening? Are we being made a fool of?
This close relationship between the BJP and the RSS can really prove to be deadly.

After Sakshi Maharaj, BJP leader Shaymal Goswami says Hindu women should have 5 children.
What next? 6? 7,8,9,10?
Well, wake me up when they reach a half century.
Adios till next time.
